Trump demands that Saudi Arabia and Qatar join the Abraham Accords
The president urged Arab and Muslim countries to join the peace agreements with Israel. “It should start with the immediate signing by Saudi Arabia and Qatar,” he wrote. Trump also said it would be an “honor” if Iran were to also join the agreements.

U.S. President Donald Trump is pressuring Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Pakistan to join the Abraham Accords. In a post he published today (Monday), the president demanded that the leaders of these countries join the agreements – after a deal with Iran is signed.
"During my discussions on Saturday I stated that, after all the work done by the United States to try and pull this very complex puzzle together, it should be mandatory that all of these Countries, at a minimum, simultaneously, sign onto the Abraham Accords. Those Countries discussed are Saudi Arabia, The United Arab Emirates (already a Member!), Qatar, Pakistan, Türkiye, Egypt, Jordan, and Bahrain (already a Member!).”
“The Abraham Accords have proven to be, for the Countries involved (The United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco, Sudan, and Kazakhstan), a Financial, Economic, and Social BOOM… and will be even better for everybody, and bring true Power, Strength, and Peace to the Middle East for the first time in 5,000 years. It will be a Document respected like no other that has ever been signed, anywhere in the World. Its level of Importance and Prestige will be unparalleled! Therefore, I am mandatorily requesting that all Countries immediately sign the Abraham Accords. And that, if Iran signs its Agreement with me, as President of the United States of America, it would be an Honor to have them also be part of this unparalleled World Coalition”.
Yesterday, our reporter Barak Ravid published details of Trump’s conversation with Arab leaders. According to two American officials familiar with the call, he said during a conference call on Saturday that if an agreement is reached to end the war with Iran, he wants those countries to join the Abraham Accords and sign peace agreements with Israel.
Trump’s remarks during the call signal the major next step he wants to advance in the Middle East after a potential agreement with Iran. He is mainly aiming for a historic peace agreement between Saudi Arabia and Israel. However, the current political climate in the region and upcoming elections in Israel make any short-term breakthrough unlikely.
