על אף היותה בת 21 בלבד, גם אוליביה ניקאנן, כוכבת הסדרות "עולם חדש" (The Society) ו"סופרגירל", נדבקה בקורונה. ניקאנן עלתה לשידור חי באינסטגרם של קתרין ניוטון, כוכבת "The Society" המשודרת בנטפליקס, וסיפרה כי היא החלה להיעזר במשאף כדי להתמודד עם התסמינים שהיא חווה. "אני מרגישה טוב יותר עכשיו, עדיין יש לי לחץ בחזה", סיפרה השחקנית, "זה דבר מפחיד". 

לפי חשבון האינסטגרם של ניקאנן, עיקר הסימפטומים של הנגיף החלו להופיע אצלה כבר לפני כשבועיים. השחקנית תיעדה את חום גופה עולה עד ל38.9 מעלות צלזיוס ותיארה כיצד היא מתמודדת עם "כאבי גוף נוראיים וגלי קור". בימים שלאחר מכן, ניקאנן אף חוותה אובדן של חושי הטעם והריח שלה.

Just some news! Only touched my face a couple of times and washed my hands after, I promise!! I feel extremely lucky to be able to stay home and fully recover, it is a privilege, though it should be a right. If you are also in that position, please think about the people who are not able to take time off work or take time off of caring for people. We have to make room for those who cannot make anymore sacrifices in their lives. We are living in an unprecedented time that will no doubt change history forever and no person should be left behind. If I can flatten the curve and protect those at risk, I will do so gladly. I hope you will, too.

הקורונה גובה קורבן מפורסם נוסף, לאחר מותו של התסריטאי טרנס מקנאלי בגיל 81. מארק בלום, שחקן אמריקאי שכיכב לצד מדונה ורוזנה ארקט בסרט "סוזן סוזן", כמו גם בסדרות "מוצרט בג'ונגל", "את" ו"יורשים", הלך לעולמו בגיל 69, לאחר מאבק בסיבוכים של הנגיף.

"זה באמת טרגי והלב שלי יוצא אליו, אל משפחתו ואל אהוביו", ספדה מדונה לשחקן. "אני זוכרת אותו בתור בחור מצחיק, חם, אוהב ומקצועי", הוסיפה, וציינה כי לכתו של בלום היא "תזכורת נוספת לכך שהוירוס הוא לא בדיחה".

I Want to Acknowledge the Passing of a remarkable Human, fellow actor and friend Mark Blum, who succumbed to Coronavirus. מסתבר שהקורונה לא מדלגת גם על בעלי דם כחול. בהודעה רשמית של בית קלרנס, משכנו של צ'ארלס, אושרו הדיווחים לפיהם יורש העצר בן ה-71 נדבק בנגיף הקורונה. מפאת גילו, צ'ארלס נחשב כחלק מאוכלוסייה הנמצאת בסיכון מוגבר לסיבוכים של המחלה. בנוסף, נכתב בהודעה כי הנסיך הבריטי נמצא במצב בריאותי טוב, יחסית, ולא מציג סימפטומים מסוכנים כלשהם. צ'ארלס שוהה בבידוד בסקוטלנד יחד עם רעייתו קמילה, דוכסית קורנוול, שנמצה שלילית בבדיקה להידבקות בנגיף.

23.3: ארון טבייט

טבייט, שהתפרסם בזכות תפקידו בתור טריפ ואן דר בילט בסדרה "אחת שיודעת", הודיעה על דבר הידבקותו דרך האינסטגרם. טבייט סיפר כי הוא כבר נמצא בבידוד בימים האחרונים, לאחר שהמחזמר בכיכובו - "מולאן רוז' בברודווי" - יצא לפגרה בשל התפרצות הקורונה.

"אני מרגיש בר מזל על כך שהסימפטומים שלי היו עדינים", כתב טבייט, שהוסיף: "אחד הדברים שאני חווה הוא אובדן (של חושי) טעם וריח, שזה סימן גדול לאנשים ללא סימפטומים". עוד לפני ההשתתפות ב"מולאן רוז'", טבייט השתתף במחזות זמר רבים בברודווי, בהם "הירספריי" ו"וויקד". בנוסף, על המסך הופיע השחקן בסדר "הטובות לקרב" ו"גרייסלנד", במופע הטלוויזיוני "גריז לייב" ובסרט "עלובי החיים", בתפקיד אנג'ולרה.

Hey everyone. I just wanted to update you all that I’ve found out that I’ve tested positive for Covid-19. I’ve been in quarantine since Broadway shows shut down on Thursday, March 12th, and I’m feeling much better. I consider myself extremely lucky that my symptoms have been very mild - cold like with no fever - as so many are experiencing much more serious symptoms, because this is a very dangerous virus. One thing I have been experiencing is the loss of taste and smell, which I think is a big sign for people who are otherwise asymptotic. I was tested last Monday, and just found out the results, however, I have been taking this situation extremely seriously, even before I was tested. I want everyone to realize that this can affect anyone. And even if you aren’t feeling sick or showing drastic symptoms - please take heed, stay safe, stay healthy and I hope to see everyone at the theater again soon. And I wanted to post this with a picture of Miles because, they’re loving all this extra time at home with their Humans!

על פי דיווחים שונים בארה"ב, גם המפיק ההוליוודי ועבריין המין נמצא חיובי לנגיף. וינשטיין הוא אחד משני האסירים היחידים שנדבקו בבית הכלא בו הוא מוחזק, לאחר שנגזרו עליו 23 שנות מאסר בשל מעשיו. מקורביו של המפיק לשעבר מיהרו לפרסם הודעה לפיה לא ידוע להם על הידבקות כלשהי, אך מקורות בשירותי אכיפת החוק ששוחחו עם האתר דדליין אישרו את הדיווח. 

21.3: דבי מזר

מזר, שחקנית טלוויזיה אמריקאית שכיכבה בין היתר ב"הפמליה" ו"יאנגר", סיפרה כי החלה להרגיש רע כמעט שבוע שלם לפני שעברה בדיקה להידבקות בנגיף. בפוסט בו הודיעה על מחלתה, סיפרה מזר על הקשיים שחוותה בדרכה להשיג בדיקה, וקראה לכולם להגן על עצמם ועל אהוביהם.

I have just tested positive for Covid-19.I AM OK! About a month ago my entire home(husband and two teen daughters) got an odd bug- Low grade fever,headaches,sore throat,body aches,ears ringing and a dry cough.It cleared up quickly.Seasonal I thought?but it felt unusual/different... Two weeks later,March 15th,I woke up with all those same symptoms but super intense body aches,and 102.4 fever.I figured maybe I got the flu or..Corona? I had had cocktails the evening prior,and smoked a few cigarettes. I figured I had jacked my immune system from having a fun night with friends.I called a doctor/friend to ask if I could get the Covid-19 test on 3/16.He said NO,I didn’t meet the criteria.I hadn’t recently traveled out of the country&I hadnt been with someone who had actually tested positive.I found this kind of a CRAZY criteria for a NY’er as I had taken the subway,gone to the theater,the grocery store,the pharmacy,hair salon,etc.I was the Mom who was trying to prepare the home and get supplies&bleach wipes,dry goods.extra food etc. Because we have Italian family in Italy and we follow the news closely,my biggest panic was why were they not closing schools in NYC &forbidding movement outside the home without permission,like China and all of Europe? Prospect Park yesterday,i hear was jumpin’! A friend told me that CityMD/Urgent Care in my neighborhood had test kits,which appealed to me as I wanted to stay away from the hospital. I went on 3/17.First I was tested for the flu-which was negative.Then they tested me for Covid-19. I was sent home and told to quarantine myself until I had results,which would take 3-7 days(in S.Korea it takes two hours) Well..today is day 5 and I just found out.Im hoping I’ve been through the worst of it already.Its very “morphy”.One day I feel crappy and the next I’m normal.Today my lungs are heavy,but I’m tough. I can breath,and I’m going to heal here,in my own home!My family is under quarantine for 14 days.They have no symptoms.I think we all had it possibly already?Who knows. 20.3: טוביה צפיר

הקורונה מגיעה גם לעולם התרבות בישראל, ומדביקה את אחד מהבדרנים האהובים במדינה: טוביה צפיר, הלא הוא "סבא טוביה". צפיר עדכן לאחר שאובחן כי מצבו הבריאותי השתפר, וכי רעייתו יעל לא נדבקה בנגיף. בעקבות מחלתו של צפיר, נאלצו גם כוכב הילדים טל מוסרי והזמרת רוני דלומי להיכנס לבידוד, לאחר שהשתתפו לצד צפיר בהצגה "גבעת חלפון אינה עונה". 

20.3: "הרווק" קולטון אנדרווד והמנחה אנדי כהן

אנדרווד בן ה-28, מתמודד "הרווקה" לשעבר שהפך ל"הרווק" עצמו בעונתה ה-23 של התכנית, הודיע על הידבקותו דרך האינסטגרם. "תעשו לעצמכם ולאהובים שלכם טובה ותישארו בבית", קרא לעוקביו. כמה ימים לאחר מכן, דיווחה קאסי רנדולף, בת זוגו של אנדרווד, כי מצבו של כוכב הריאליטי השתפר גם הוא.

I tested positive and I have been following all of the social distancing rules since last week. My symptoms started a few days ago, I was tested and just received my results today. For anyone out there that is hesitant to self quarantine... please do yourself and your loved ones a favor and stay home. We will all beat this and come out stronger on the other side. באותו יום, גם מנחה הטלוויזיה אנדי כהן הודיע כי נדבק בנגיף. כהן, שתיכנן להעביר את תכנית האירוח שלו "Watch What Happens live" לפורמט של שידור מהבית, נאלץ להודיע כי לא יוכל להוציא את היוזמה לפועל. ""אנחנו נאלצים לעצור הכל לעת עתה כדי שאוכל להתמקד בהחלמה", הסביר.

אגב, שבועות בודדים לפי שפורסם כי נדבק, כהן העלה תמונה לאינסטגרם בה צולם לצד שחקנים כמו שרה ג'סיקה פארקר ומתיו ברודריק. בנוסף, פורסם כי גם אחותו של ברודריק נדבקה בנגיף. אם מישהו מהנוכחים רוצה לעדכן את החברים, שיוודא להרים טלפון גם לאיתן פוקס, שבסרט החדש שלו מככב גם ג'ון בנג'מין היקי - אחד מהמצולמים בתמונה.

שלושה ימים לאחר היביו הודיעה גם וארמה, שבנוסף לתפקידה בתור אלאריה סאנד כיכבה גם ב"רומא", כי נדבקה גם היא. בזמן בו נדבקה, וארמה הייתה בעיצומן של חזרות למחזה חדש בלונדון. "כל כך עצוב שההופעה שלנו ואחרות הוחשכו בגלל התפשטות הקוביד-19", כתבה וארמה. "אני נמצאת במיטה בגלל זה וזה לא נעים".

16.3: אידריס אלבה

גם כוכב "לות'ר", "הסמויה" וסרטי מארוול נכנס למניין החולים. "הבוקר נמצאתי חיובי בבדיקה לנגיף הקוביד-19", כתב אלבה בטוויטר, "אני מרגיש בסדר, אין לי תסמינים בינתיים אבל אני נמצא בבידוד מאז שנודע לי על החשיפה האפשרית לווירוס. תישארו בבית אנשים, ותהיו פרגמטיים. אני אמשיך לעדכן אתכם במצב שלי. אין פאניקה".

בהמשך, גם בת זוגו של אלבה, סברינה דוור, הודיעה כי נדבקה בנגיף. בראיון שהעניקו בני הזוג לאופרה ווינפרי, הסבירה דוור כי הרגישה "אינסטינקט של רעיה" כשהחליטה שלא לבודד את עצמה מאלבה לאחר שנדבק. בני הזוג שוהים כעת במקסיקו, שם צולם סרטו האחרון של השחקן.

16.3: אולגה קורילנקו

בפוסט שהעלתה לאינסטגרם, הודיעה נערת בונד לשעבר כי נדבקה בנגיף. "אני נעולה בבית אחרי שנבדקתי ונמצא שיש לי קורונה. אני חולה כבר כמעט שבוע עכשיו. חום וחולשה הם הסימפטומים העיקריים שלי. טפלו בעצמכם וקחו את זה ברצינות!", כתבה השחקנית, שהשתתפה בעבר בסרט "קירות" לצד נינט טייב.

עדכון, 22.3: שבוע אחד אחר כך, קורילנקו כבר דיווחה כי החלימה לגמרי וכי היא "מרגישה מצויין".

Happy Mother’s Day! #mothersday P.S. I have completely recovered To recapitulate: For one week I felt pretty bad and was mostly in bed, sleeping, with high fever and strong headache. The second week, the fever was gone but some light cough appeared and I felt very tired. By the end of the second week I felt totally fine. Cough is almost gone although I still cough in the mornings but then it completely goes away for the day! I’m fine! And now I’m just enjoying this time to reflect on many things and spend my time with my son. Я думаю я полностью выздоровела. Коротко о течении болезни: В первую неделю мне было очень плохо и я почти все время лежала с высокой температурой и много спала. Я спала 12 часов за ночь и потом ещё часа 3-4 днём!!! Подняться было тяжело. Усталость сумасшедшая. Головная боль дикая. Во вторую неделю температура полностью ушла и появился легкий кашель. Усталость осталась. Теперь практически никаких симптомов нет. Только немного кашель есть по утрам, но потом он полностью уходит на весь день. Теперь я наслаждаюсь отдыхом и провожу время с сыном. Держитесь!!! #coronavirus #коронавирус

השחקנים שהם גם בני זוג היו המפורסמים הראשונים שהודיעו כי נדבקו בנגיף. הנקס כתב בחשבון הטוויטר שלו כי הוא ו-ווילסון חלו בקורונה בעודם שוהים באוסטרליה לצורך צילומי סרט חדש של הנקס. לאחר אשפוז של חמישה ימים בבית חולים בקווינסלנד, עברו השניים לבידוד בבית ששכרו במדינה.

"היי חברים, ריטה ואני נמצאים כאן באוסטרליה, הרגשנו קצת עייפים כאילו חטפנו התקררות, בנוסף לקצת גירודים בגוף", כתב הנקס. "לריטה היו קצת רעידות וגם קצת חום. כדי לנהל את הדברים נכון, כפי שמצריך עולמנו בזמנים כאלו, עשינו בדיקה לנגיף הקורונה - והתוצאות היו חיוביות", כתב הנקס בהודעה. כמו הפקות הוליוודיות רבות, גם הסרט אותו צילם הנקס, ביוגרפיה קולנועית על אלביס פרסלי בבימויו של באז לרמן, הקפיא את הצילומים.
